Students will be provided with knowledge and skills regarding general anesthesia applications

Infection control programs in operating rooms, Sterilization and disinfection of materials used, Standard operating room equipment and work organization, Preoperative preparation period, Keeping and necessity of anesthesia records, Monitoring parameters, Airway control and difficult airway management, Ensuring normothermia, Vascular access control, Blood and blood product applications, Protection from damage, Postoperative patient care, Employee safety, Introduction of emergency codes

Violations of academic integrity include, but are not limited to, cheating or attempted cheating, plagiarism, presenting false information or citations, facilitating dishonest acts by others, obtaining exams without permission, using previously completed work without informing the instructor, and altering the academic work of other students.
