Course Objectives

To master the concepts of health and health services, to gain basic knowledge on the management of health services and to be able to evaluate the management of health services in Turkey.

Basic Concepts in Management and Historical Development of Management, Functions of Management, Concepts of Health and Health Services, Classification and Functions of Health Services, Development and Organization of Health Services in Turkey, National Health Policies, International Health Policies, Hospital Management, Financing of Health Services, Human Resources Management in Healthcare Organizations, Marketing Management in Healthcare Organizations, Public Relations and Communication in Healthcare Organizations, Patient Rights and Ethics in Healthcare Organizations.
