Course Objectives

It is aimed to provide students with knowledge about pathology and pathology concepts, to introduce the characteristics of the pathology laboratory and to provide information about the materials coming to this laboratory and how to follow these materials (tissues), as well as to provide information on cell damage, inflammation and healing, diseases, neoplasms, immunology and immunopathology.

Definition of pathology, history and characteristics of the pathology laboratory, materials coming to the pathology laboratory and tissue follow-up, cell damage, inflammation and healing, etiology in pathology, diseases related to body fluids and blood circulation, neoplasms, immunology and immunopathology.

5 Cell damage and its causes, Cell's responses to injury
6 Inflammation and Healing (Inflammation, Causes of Inflammation, Pathogenesis of Inflammation, Inflammatory Cells, Types of Inflammation, Healing of Inflammation)
7 Etiology in Pathology (Cellular damage-death, Causes of cell damage (Etiology), Mechanism of cell damage (Pathogenesis), Cell damage (Morphology)
