Course Content

The training covers the following topics: Equipment and supplies required in the operating room, Roles and responsibilities of the operating room team, Tissue damage and wound healing, Types of wounds, Complications encountered in surgery, Infection in the operating room, Central sterilization unit, Sterilization methods, unexpected situations, Functional control of surgical instruments, Consignment material management and workflow, Prevention of foreign bodies left behind during surgery, Inventory, recording and documentation of materials used in surgery.
