POLS 150 - Academic Skills

This course aims to develop the absic academic skills necessary for students' successfull adaption to university life. Academic communication, civility and academic research objective and ethics are among the skills the course focuses on.

In this course, students will be able to communicate professionally and respectfully within academic settings; navigate university institutions and academic support structures; demonstrate awareness of academic integrity and research ethics; understand the principles of academic argumentation and literature review, and reflect critically on the role of universities in society and their changing nature.
