Course Objectives

To provide students with the ability to prepare technical drawings, to read existing technical drawings and to teach them how to use a CAD software.

Surface Quality and Processing Marks / Dimensional Tolerances, Shape-position Tolerances / Manufacturing Drawings / Assembly Drawings / Screwed Connections / Basic Machine Elements (bolt, nut, washer) / Basic Machine Elements (key, keyed shaft, pulleys) / Basic Machine Elements (pin, pin, circlip, coupler) / Sliding and Rolling Bearings / Springs, Rivets, welded connections / Gear Wheels
