Course Objectives
The objective of Internship I in the Civil Engineering Program is to provide students with practical experience in construction sites and engineering workplaces. The internship aims to enhance students’ understanding of civil engineering practices, improve their technical and communication skills, and enable them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering problems while becoming familiar with professional ethics, safety procedures, and teamwork.
Course Content
The course content of Internship I includes practical training in civil engineering fields such as construction site activities, surveying, concrete works, structural applications, quality control, safety procedures, project management, and technical reporting. Students observe and participate in engineering tasks under professional supervision to gain hands-on experience related to planning, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering projects.
