Course Objectives

This course aims to introduce the students the field of industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology and its major theories and practical applications.

Course Content

During the semester, students will learn about psychological approaches to workplace problems/ issues such as job analysis, personnel selection, personnel training, performance evaluation as well as research methods employed in I/O psychology. Students will also learn about a number of organizational behavior topics (mainly, understanding and assessing employee attitudes, motivating employees, & leadership).
