Course Objectives

This course aims to introduce life span development based on a stage approach from prenatal to death.

Course Content

Developmental theories, research methods in developmental psychology, physical growth, cog-nitive development, language, social and emotional development, self-development, moral de-velopment, gender and sexuality, and death/dying will be covered in this course. The interaction between biological, social, cultural, and contextual factors in development will be discussed.
