Course Objectives

This couse is designed to provide an overview of the historical development and practice of psychology.

Course Content

Examines the history of psychology from Ancient Greece to the present. The history of ideas about the mind, the major historical and social events that shaped the field, and ideas and developments related to psychology, such as when and how psychology was accepted as a scientific field, are the main topics of this course.
