Course Objectives

This course introduces life span development based on a topical approach from prenatal until death.

Course Content

Developmental theories, research methods in developmental psychology, physical growth, cognitive development, language, social and emotional development, moral development, self-development, and death will be covered in this course. The interaction between biological, social, cultural, and contextual factors in development will be discussed.
