Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide students with the fundamental concepts and theories for understanding group behavior and team dynamics in organizations. The course aims to develop students' skills in analyzing intragroup interactions, evaluating team processes, and understanding factors that influence group performance. Additionally, the course seeks to enhance students' effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills, while enabling them to link group dynamics with management processes.

Course Content

This course covers the fundamental concepts and application areas of management ethics. The content includes concepts of ethics and morality, ethical theories (utilitarianism, rights approach, justice approach, virtue ethics), individual ethical decision-making processes, ethical dilemmas in organizations, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, and ethical leadership. Additionally, ethical issues encountered in the business world (corruption, conflicts of interest, discrimination, information manipulation, etc.) are examined through case studies to enhance students' ethical decision-making competencies.

Prerequisites / Corequisites

There are no specific prerequisites for this course. However, students having a foundational knowledge of management and organization will contribute to a more effective understanding of the course material.
