Course Objectives

The main subjects within the scope of this course are editorial (pen) legislation and judicial correspondence. In this context, the clerical staff, which provides basic and significant support to judges in judicial activities, and the sources, purpose and application of the law that regulates the transactions to be carried out by these personnel in judicial activities, as well as how to conduct judicial correspondence, will be explained. In addition to petitions specifically related to cases, general petitions, correspondence made within the scope of judicial activity (memorandums, invitations, minutes, decisions, announcements) as well as official correspondence will be explained.

The content of this course will generally include the preparation of judicial correspondence, official correspondence and general petitions, as well as the relevant source legislation will be examined and explained

Learning Outcomes

Code Description
LO1 To be able to explain the basic concepts and sources of civil law, as well as judicial correspondence, official correspondence, general petitions, and to make evaluations based on them.
LO2 To understand the editorial legislation and judicial correspondence legislation, which have an important place in judicial activities, and to make evaluations on this subject
LO3 To understand and understand judicial writings and the editorial institution and to be able to analyze them.
LO4 To be able to make simple analyzes on the importance and function of judicial correspondence and editorial staff in judicial activities.
LO5 To comprehend and understand the types of forensic writings and to be able to prepare articles in accordance with the types of forensic writings.
