Course Objectives

To enable the student to have knowledge, skills and attitudes about the course of normal labor, stages of birth and risk factors, different presentations, postpartum period characteristics and mother and baby care

Course Content

This course covers the factors that play a role in labor, the physiology, stages and mechanism of labor, and midwifery practices in the birth and postpartum period

Prerequisites / Corequisites

EBE 201 and EBE 202 are the prerequisites for this course
