Course Objectives

With this course, it is aimed that the student will understand the characteristics of human behaviors and behavioral disorders, understand the basic principles of mental health nursing, gain the knowledge, skills and attitude to form and implement care plans for their patients, and comprehend the importance of the protection, treatment and rehabilitation of mental health.

Course Content

The course includes performing mental status examination, writing observations and interviews, preparing, implementing and evaluating care plans within the scope of the nursing process of cases taken in clinical practice.
