Course Objectives

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to plan medical nutrition treatment/diet in accordance with disease-specific nutrition principles.

Course Content

This course includes the subjects of obesity, thinness, eating behavior disorders, diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, gastrointestinal system diseases, fiber and its interaction with health.
