Course Objectives

To be able to define the structure of biomolecules in living organisms, the main reactions in which they take place and undergo changes, the enzymes that catalyze these reactions, metabolic pathways and the control mechanisms of these pathways, and to establish their relationships with each other.

Course Content

This lesson includes learning about the functions of vitamins and minerals in the body, their metabolism, biochemical changes in cases of deficiency and excess, and the metabolism of hormones, water and electrolytes.
