Course Objectives

The course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of tourism concepts, terminology, and the tourism system. It introduces the major sectors, organizations, businesses, and stakeholders of the tourism industry, including accommodation, transportation, tour operators, and travel agencies. The course also covers tourism types, products, destinations, current trends, and the social, cultural, and economic impacts of tourism. Through guest speakers, site visits, and presentations, students are encouraged to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world tourism practices.

Course Content

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts, components, and stakeholders of the tourism industry.
