Course Objectives

This course is designed to review the recording of business transactions and year-end adjustments; the preparation of the trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement; the opening and closing of accounts; and to introduce the analysis of major accounts.

Course Content

The use and interpretation of financial reports. The concepts and standards for the measurements used in preparing the financial statements of businesses. Also, it aims to gain a competitive advantage by providing students with information on financial statements, which have important applications in economic development, the distribution of financial resources, and economic welfare.
