Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to improve students’ English language skills and to provide them with basic communication skills related to the health field. Within the scope of the course, students are expected to develop their reading, listening, speaking and writing skills and gain awareness of using English in professional contexts.

Course Content

This course focuses on improving students’ English language skills by developing reading, listening, speaking, and writing abilities. The course covers professional topics such as hospital settings, healthcare staff, patient communication, daily routines, symptoms, medical conditions, and treatment processes. It also aims to help students communicate effectively using field-specific vocabulary and language structures.
