Course Objectives

It is the development of basic care understandings of the nursing profession by giving information about the concepts and care principles that form the basis of nursing care.

Course Content

In this course, the concepts that form the basis of nursing care (human, health, environment, nursing, problem solving, concept maps, basic human needs and daily life activities, awareness raising, addiction-independence, anxiety and fear, change process and creating change, power-weakness, hope-hopelessness, privacy, body image, homeostasis, adaptation, stress, bioethics, loss, death, mourning), the use of these concepts in nursing care, the basic principles of nursing care.
