Course Objectives

The objectives of this course can be summarized as follows:- To teach students the database logic, which is the basis of the software world.- To teach students database management operations such as creating a relational database, creating tables, updating, deleting tables through a selected DBMS.- To teach students SQL (Structured Query Language).

Course Content

This course will provide students with basic database knowledge and administration skills. Students will learn SQL language to manage all databases. The course is mainly practice oriented.

Learning Outcomes

LO3 Students can create, update and delete tables in the database.
LO4 Students will be able to write queries using SQL language, edit data and prepare reports.
