Course Objectives
It is aimed to learn glass types and usage areas in the optical sector.
Course Content
Definition of glass types in the optical industry Spherical and Aspherical lenses, Organic lenses, Mineral lenses, Astigmatic lenses and the differences between their advantages and disadvantages, Prism lenses (Fresnel). Lens aberrations Current methods of production of organic lenses. Ophthalmic lens material and design, Special type lenses, Sports lenses, Bifocal eye lenses, Lenticular lenses are the content of the course.

It is the student's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information provided by artificial intelligence. The use of false or hallucinated data directly affects a student's academic success.
