Course Objectives

The aim is to teach general concepts related to communication, to impart knowledge about methods, strategies and techniques, and to enable patients to acquire the skills to manage the process in the patient-dietitian relationship.

Course Content

This course covers fundamental ethical principles; national and international laws and regulations related to the duties and responsibilities of a dietitian; the importance of teamwork in nutrition and dietetics; and the experience and rules of different communication methods to be used with patients in different patient groups.
