Course Objectives

Providing general information about electrotherapy, creating the theoretical and practical infrastructure of physiotherapy applications in the electrotherapy unit.

Course Content

The basic characteristics and application principles of TENS, Russian Current, Microcurrent, High Voltage Pulsed Current (HVPC), Medium Frequency Currents (Interferential Currents), Biofeedback, High Frequency Current, Shortwave Diathermy (SWD), Pulsed Shortwave Diathermy (PSWD), Microwave Diathermy (MWD), Ultrasound and Pulsed Ultrasound, Magnetotherapy, and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) will be taught.
