Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to teach the student theoretical knowledge and skills in basic anesthesia.

Course Content

History and definition of anesthesia, Determination of anesthesia risk, Central gas system and anesthesia machine, Airway protection, Inhalational anesthetics, Intravenous anesthetics, Analgesics, Measurement of anesthesia depth, Muscle relaxants, Spinal anesthesia applications, Epidural anesthesia applications and Peripheral nerve blocks.
