Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about the basic concepts of Biochemistry. In addition, it is to give information about the cells that make up the human organism and also the metabolism events necessary for the organism to survive, the general structures, and the functions of carbohydrates, proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids, and fats.

Course Content

This course covers the fundamentals of general biochemistry. Sub-topics such as carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, enzymes, nucleic acids, hormones, and vitamins form the basis of this course.
