Course Objectives

Introducing students to medical terms to ensure the use of a common language with health professionals, ensuring the comprehension and usability of medical terminology.

Course Content

Introduction to medical terminology, basic structure of words, Latin pronunciation and emphasis, prefixes, suffixes, term types, body planes, cardiovascular system terms, respiratory system terms, movement system terms, digestive system terms, urogenital system terms, endocrine system terms, nervous system terms, sensory organ terms, pharmacology, disease classification and analgesia related terms are included.

Learning Outcomes
