About the Program
Antalya Bilim University's Electrical and Computer Engineering Master's Program commenced its educational activities on December 25, 2019. Since its inception, the program has focused on scientific research and applied education, contributing to numerous successful projects and encouraging interdisciplinary studies. Having graduated 50 students to date, the program continues to cultivate experts who make a difference in both industry and academia by providing students with innovative and technological knowledge.
Admission and Registration Requirements
Applicants to the program must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.ADMISSION RANKING: ALES (50%) + GPA (30%) + Interview (20%)International StudentsApplicants to the program must have graduated from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related undergraduate program.ADMISSION RANKING: GPA (50%) + Interview (50%)
Recognition of Prior Learning
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another department within the university or in a graduate program at another higher education institution may be admitted to Antalya Bilim University graduate programs through lateral transfer.Lateral transfer quotas are determined by the EYK (Executive Board) and shall not exceed 30% of the total quota for the relevant semester.Students who have taken at least one semester of courses in a graduate program offered by the institute or in a graduate program at another higher education institution and who have successfully completed all courses taken up to that point may be accepted into a graduate program offered by the institute through lateral transfer by submitting an application to the institute with the necessary documents at the beginning of the semester, until the end of the course registration and renewal period. the student may be accepted into a graduate program offered by the institute through lateral transfer, subject to the written opinion of the institute's department/division and the decision of the institute's administrative board.Students applying for lateral transfer must meet the graduate student admission requirements for the period in which they gained student status.Students who have completed at least one semester in a graduate program at a higher education institution abroad whose equivalence is recognized by the Higher Education Council may apply for lateral transfer to a graduate program.Students who have obtained their bachelor's and/or master's degree in a field different from the thesis-based master's or doctoral program to which they are transferring may be required to complete a scientific preparation program, subject to the decision of the relevant institute's department. The period spent in scientific preparation is counted as part of the normal education period.

Our graduates are expected to be experts with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering, capable of solving complex engineering problems using analytical and scientific methods.Our graduates are expected to be individuals who can conduct independent research, generate original knowledge, develop innovative engineering solutions, and play an active role in interdisciplinary studies.Our graduates are expected to demonstrate advanced application and R&D skills in the design, integration, optimization, prototyping, testing, and evaluation of electrical and computer systems.Our graduates are expected to be individuals who act with a sense of ethical responsibility, can communicate effectively, are successful in teamwork, and can take on leadership roles in academia, R&D, and advanced engineering applications at the national and international levels.

Examination and performance evaluation principles are conducted based on the “Antalya Bilim University Examination and Performance Evaluation" Guidelines.

Graduation Requirements
The thesis-based master's program consists of a total of 120 ECTS credits, including at least eight courses, including a seminar course, and thesis work, with a minimum of 60 ECTS credits.The duration of the thesis-based master's program is four semesters, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the registered program are offered, regardless of whether the student registers for each semester, excluding the period spent on scientific preparation. The program is completed in a maximum of six semesters.In thesis-based master's programs, a weighted overall grade point average of at least 2.50 out of 4.00 is required for graduation from the master's program, and the seminar course and thesis work must be successfully completed.The completion period for a thesis-based master's program is four semesters. However, students who meet all the requirements for graduation by the end of the third semester at the earliest may be admitted to the thesis defense. These students are awarded a master's degree upon successful completion.
