Program Outcomes

Code Description

Exams, Assessment and Evaluation

The non-thesis master’s program consists of a total of 90 ECTS credits, including at least 10 courses amounting to no fewer than 60 ECTS credits, and a term project. One of these courses must cover scientific research methods and ethics.Students are required to register for the term project course in the semester in which it is taken and to submit a written project and/or report at the end of the semester. The term project course is evaluated on a pass/fail basis. The principles for exams and assessment are outlined in the Antalya Bilim University Exam and Success Evaluation Directive: Evaluation methods for a course throughout the semester or academic year include midterm exams, assignments, projects, laboratory work, practical applications, and other activities. End-of-semester exams are graded on a 100-point scale. The final grade is determined by combining both the semester/year evaluations and the end-of-semester exam scores. Each evaluation component is weighted according to the contribution percentage specified in the course syllabus, which is made available before the registration renewal period. The weighted scores are then summed and rounded to the nearest whole number to calculate the final grade. For Master's programs with or without a thesis, the following letter grades are considered successful: A+, A, A-, B+, B, and B-. C+ and C are "Pass"; S is "Satisfactory"; C-, D+, D, F, FX, and U are failing grades. The specified grade ranges are as follows:
